About the house
Space has an open floor plan with a queen bed in the loft and a queen sofa bed.
Important to note: kitchen is limited with a single-burner plug-in induction cooktop, small lower-cabinet fridge, and no dishwasher - not ideal if you plan to do lots of cooking.
Loft with queen bed has very low and slanted ceilings.
Guests have a private entrance through the alley. There is a 2-seat bistro table set by the fence for guests. Out of respect for the privacy of the owners, the outdoor dining table, BBQ grill, and backyard in general is not available for guest use.

I loved staying in this spot during the perfect fall weekend and would definitely book it again if i wasn't already moving into the neighborhood!
Sam defines superhero host! Proactive, friendly - and great recommendations! The place was perfect for two of us. Spotless, great location and close to restaurants, but very quiet for sleep. A little challenging for tall people to navigate the loft, but once in bed, super comfy. Would definitely stay again!
We had an illness and a hurricane that interrupted our travel plans and Sam was so kind and patient when we couldn't be there as we said. With much appreciation.

Fantastic place for a couple to stay in Ballard area. Sam was super responsive and helpful. The guest house was comfortable, cozy, clean and easy to access. Much better option than a hotel, and we felt right at home. Exactly as advertised. Very grateful we stayed here!
Stay was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Directions to unit were good and no problems finding parking on the street.
